A Guide for Growing with God

Everything God calls us to be and do comes with instructions. He never leaves us to our own preferences or presumptions. Instead, He provides guidance to ensure we aren’t easily distracted or discouraged as we pursue His will for our lives. So, in every season, He offers the easiest, safest, and quickest path for us to experience the fullness of His possibilities.

1 Peter 1:21-23; 1 Peter 2:1-3

Growing in God requires:

• My agreement with God's Word
• My commitment with God's practices
• My adjustment to God's authority
• My development for God's truth
• My encouragement from God's goodness

Big So What:

God's guideline for growing in Him rarely goes the way I want; but it always goes the way that's best for me!

This week's challenge:

• Read the book of 1st Peter
• Memorize 1 Peter 1:23
• Ask God to give you a verse for this season in your life
• Set an alarm 3x a day for a thankful/grateful praise break!
